Registration is now open for the 2015 Institute for Trustees, Sat. March 28.
With nearly 400 Trustees and executive directors from dozens of nonprofits throughout the region, ECCF's one day conference provides a great opportunity to network and develop key leadership tools for boards and governance. This year, several new tracks, including one for Next Generation leaders, will be offered, featuring a variety of new speakers as well. With workshops ranging from best practices, risk management and becoming an excellent board chair to primers for new or aspiring Trustees and winning strategies for fundraising and team building, this year's IFT provides area leaders—as always!—with professional and essential experiences for making their nonprofits as effective as possible.
This year's plenary speaker, Dan Pallota (pictured here), is Founder/President of the Charity Defense Council, a national leadership movement dedicated to transforming the way the donating public thinks about charity and change. Dan invented the multi-day charitable event industry, and his iconic TED Talk—seen more than 3 million times—changed how we view philanthropy and nonprofit partnerships.
