Field of Interest Funds
By establishing a Field of Interest Fund, you can target your gift to address needs in an important area of community life, such as: Arts. AIDS. Aging. At-risk youth., or alternatively to agencies within a particular geographic area, or a combination of those or other criteria.
You identify your personal area of interest when making your gift.
You then establish an advisory committee to help ECCF’s Board of Trustees determine the grants that are to be made to the relevant community organizations and programs that are in the area you select. Alternatively, you can leave ECCF’s staff and Board to ensure your interests are safe guarded in grants being made from your fund, in perpetuity. Your gift criteria should be flexible enough to meet community needs in your interest area — even as they change over time.
Please contact staff if you are interested in establishing a Field of Interest Fund.
Minimum Opening Balance and Fees
Field of Interest Fund may be opened for a minimum balance of $250,000, and an administration fee of 1.5% is charged annually. There is also an investment fee. Click here for management fee information. For more information, contact ECCF.
