Essex County Massachusetts
 
In 1999 the county government system was dissolved in massachusetts and county functions were moved to the state agencies. This reorganization emphasizes the need for an entity such as a community foundation to address societal issues on a regional basis.
ECCF is continually learning about the humanitarian issues that face our region. We seek to work with existing organizations and individuals on broad societal issues to find solutions that make our corner of the world a better place.
